Built ca 1920 by the Chatham Land Company, this house is a contributing resource to Savannah's Ardsley Park Chatham Crescent National Register Historic District. Utilizing state historic tax incentives for homeowners, an extensive rehabilitation was undertaken to include the restoration of a recessed porch that had been converted into living space, the restoration of wood windows where vinyl had been installed, and the conversion of the home to its original single family configuration from a previous duplex design.

The project received a 2021 Historic Savannah Foundation Award.
